Day 62 – Saint Lucia

day-62-saint-luciaPeople who identify as LGBTQ in St Lucia face discrimination not experienced by heterosexual residents. Section 132 of the Criminal Code states that all homosexual acts are illegal, and that anyone who is found guilty of same-sex activity can be punished with up to 10 years of imprisonment.
