Youth Worker Assistant – Breakout Youth (New Forest)
Breakout Youth Project are looking to appoint a new Youth Worker Assistant to work with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender young people and develop Breakout Youth services across the New Forest.
This position is for 6 hours per week delivering two evening youth work sessions per week.
We are looking for people who are committed to young people and youth work, reliable, thorough, organised, flexible, able to use their initiative and work within policies and procedures. Behaving in a professional manner meeting workplace expectations and requirements while recognising boundaries. This is an exciting opportunity to develop further the foundation work which has been completed to date.
Supporting the development and delivery across the areas of New Milton, Ringwood and the Waterside this is an exciting opportunity to develop further the foundation work which has been completed to date. This will include supervising assistant youth workers, volunteers and students.

Starting salary: SCP 3 (£18,065 pro rata based on 37 hours FTE) equating to £2929.46 per annum. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2020.
Hours: 6 hours per week worked over evenings and occasional day time/weekends.
