It’s the beginning of week 7 of Michael’s 79 days of abstinence from meat, fish and sugary treats. Today represents the lack of LGBTQ rights in Myanmar. As stated in section 377 of the penal code Penal Code, homosexuality in Myanmar is considered to be illegal, and people who are found to be guilty can be sentenced to prison for up to 10 years.
