In 2013, the Pew Research Centre conducted a study to determine which regions felt that homosexuality should be accepted in their society. According to the study, 80% of people in Lebanon felt that homosexuality should not be accepted.

It’s day 33 of Michael’s ‘79 Days’ challenge, which represents the lack of LGBTQ rights in Lebanon. While the laws against homosexuality were decriminalised, article 534 of the Lebanese Penal Code prohibits sexual relations that are “contradicting the laws of nature”.
