People who identify as LGBTQ in Guinea face discrimination not experienced by heterosexual residents. Article 325 of the Guinea Penal Code states that all homosexual acts are illegal, and that anyone who is found guilty of same-sex activity can be punished with up to 3 years of imprisonment.
